As a follow on from my baby breakfast muffins, which are sugarfreeand very low in fat, these flapjacks are also baby friendly in that unlike traditional flapjacks which are full of butter and syrup, these are bound by banana and coconut oil and stuffed full of glorious seeds and dried fruit instead of things that will make your kids hyper and unhealthy
Then there’s the fat, sweetener and all the added extras to consider too. Notes I've used standard gluten free rolled oats in this recipe, but feel free to use whichever oats you like
Using coconut oil makes this a wonderful dairy free option and by using agave nectar instead of golden syrup helps lower the sugar content and glycemic index of the recipe
