Which is why it felt very strange to be roasting a turkey in November for this review. I slow-roasted our bird in the Aga overnight, which meant it was beautifully moist and made preparing the rest of the meal the next day nice and easy
The Christmas meal is really just a tarted up roast dinner, isn’t it. So why are we so caught up in the scrum, diving for the last turkeycrown, picking through piles of sprouts as if for a flawless diamond, spraffing a fortune on unnecessary this and thats no one has asked for, nor expect to get
