Nigella lawson fruit loaf recipe recipes

Foodie Christmas Book Wish List

Nigella Express - NigellaLawson (I bought this one too). full of all manner of recipes for different fruits from summer berries to tropical favourites, with a colour photo for every recipe (which all cook books should have, in my opinion)
Blood Orange Blossom Cake

Blood Orange Blossom Cake

It’s quite similar to a NigellaLawson cake I used to make a few years ago in that a whole cooked orange is pureed and added to the cake batter

It’s all about the cake

I gave my Mum afternoon tea the other day – a NigellaLawsonrecipe for a traditional lemon drizzle, but decorated with a sprig of rosemary and served still warm it was simple but perfect
Banana Cake

Banana Cake

It's a slight variation of Banana Bread in NigellaLawsons, "How to be a Domestic Goddess". This is the ideal cake for using up bananas which are past their best in the fruit bowl
Fruity Muffins

Fruity Muffins

I based the recipe on the one for blueberry muffins from NigellaLawson's How To Be A Domestic Goddess, but exchanged the milk for banana juice and just added all of the plums and remaining blueberries without looking at the quantities

How to Be a Domestic Goddess, Review and one copy to give away

Cake wise I’ve made a few too, Nigella’s Victoria Sponge is my go-to recipe, Dense Chocolate Loaf Cake is fabulous too - I sometimes make it as cupcake sponges too, Flora’s Famous Courgette Cake, Butterscotch Layer Cake, Boston Cream Pie, Marzipan Fruit Cake, Coconut Cake, Chocolate Marsala Cake – one of my favourite cakes and Chocolate Pistachio Cake

A new start…

I, along with millions of others, was glued to my screen watching the drama of the trial that involved Charles Saatchi and his ex-wife, the glorious NigellaLawson… with eerie timing it all came to a head just before the start of The Taste…
