I adore MaryBerry, the absolute Queen of Baking here in the UK. Here is one of our favourites…I put the chocolate icing onto the cakes whilst they were still warm and this way it melted into a rich chocolate sauce with an ultimate moist cake centre…ummm chocolate heaven

I use this MaryBerry with Lakeland tray (affiliate). This golden traybake is gorgeous – soft, light sponge, ever so slightly gooey around the edges of the tangy raspberries, and all dotted with sweet, creamy white chocolate chips
As I've also mentioned, I'm not exactly MaryBerry when it comes to baking - I've never been a natural in the kitchen, but for some reason it's something I have been trying my hand at and actually enjoying more lately - I've been making quite a few new meals from scratch and actually really enjoying them, and although our baking efforts aren't going to win us a place on Bake Off any time soon - they are still pretty tasty and we have fun doing it, so what's not to love about that
Jen made MaryBerry’s lemon yoghurt cake last year and enjoyed the taste and texture that the yoghurt gave to the cake, so that was the inspiration for this recipe, and I think her cakes look SO pretty as well as sounding wonderful with all those great ingredients
