  Marrow and Ripe Tomato Chutney

Add the sugar dissolved in the vinegar and simmer until the chutney is sufficiently thick. 2 kg (7 lb)Peel the tomatoesand either mince them or cut them up with the peeled marrowand onions. Simmer them with the spices and salt in an open pan for about 1 1/2 hours or until they are cooked
