When you read through the method, and see the photos, I hope this inspires you to have a go, because it really is very easy - the 'doing' parts literally take minutes, and it's the best pastry I've ever made
To do so, melt in a bowl (over a pan of hotwater, or in. Gently warm the coconut oil in a pan, until it's just melted and runny (you don't want it hot), pour into a bowl (or a food processor/mixer), sift the cocoa powder in, and mix in until there are no lumps left
Add the water gradually until the pastry comes together into a ball with your hands, your mixture should be more wet than dry as this will help it stick together but be careful not to add too much water
It’s my job to talk food and find out what is hot. you still get some goodness in cooked food, but the sprouts will have that extra bit of vital life force inside them that has been activated (through exposure to water and light) to tell the seed ‘OK wake up, it’s time to start becoming a plant’
Apple, Date and Walnut Hot Cross Buns from The Peachick's Bakery. I can bake glutenfree cakes but I am yet to perfect a loaf and still need to try making pastry
Once it is cool, gently stir in the diced, cooked chicken (the sauce will have thickened / set a little upon cooling, but don't worry, it will loosen again into a lovely creamy sauce once cooked and hot)
See here for the method to make the pastry - I've posted the method (with ingredients as well) separately as there are a lot of photos which take up a fair amount of room
Thai Boy – they are hard, translucent discs, which soften when put in hotwater – if you’re not sure what they are, simply put ‘rice wrappers’ into Google, then click on Google Images
