Ingredients

  • 500 g which is at least enough for two meals for four
  • 50 p and the chopped tomaotoes another
  • 70 p for a can
  • 2.50 and you have a very low cost, nourishing meal
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 2 leeks
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 4 celery sticks
  • 2 parsnips
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 1/2 swede
  • / 6 oz green lentils
  • / 14 oz can chopped tomatoes
  • 900 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 teaspoons dried mixed herbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
