Ingredients

  • For the cake
  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 eggs 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 drops vanilla essence
  •  
  • For the filling
  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 140 g icing sugar, sifted
  • drop of vanilla essence
  • 340 g quality strawberry jam (I used bonne maman)
