Ingredients

  • 60 min cooking time: 20 min
  • TORTILLAS (makes 8 x 24 cm / 9.5-inch diameter)
  • 3 cups / 375 g white flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 level tsp salt
  • ¼ cup / 60 ml olive oil
  • about ¾ cup / 180 ml hot water
  • 1 and ½ cup of dry black beans, soaked overnight (550 g cooked)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 2 level tsp ground cumin
  • 1 level tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 level tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 level tsp salt
  • black pepper
