This month's theme for TreatPetite was 'Love Is In The Air' and it certainly was. Read on to drool over the beautiful treats and look out for March's theme over on Cakeyboi soon
The theme for our very first TreatPetite challenge was 'No Theme' - anything goes. The tasty treat poking out from this tea cup is an Earl Grey Cupcake by Kirsty at Kirsty's Cakes & Bakes
Once upon a time in a land far far away, our story of love begins with Jac from Tinned Tomatoes, who discovered it was World Nutella Day and made these nut-tastic Mini Maple Nutella Cupcakes which she sent with love over to the Tea Time Treats table
The title of these little treats says it all I think. But in all honesty, this was a super easy theme to participate in as I think all food you make should really be from the heart
The sheer volume of blueberries packed into these petite pastries, coupled with the tanginess of the creme fraiche, makes them surprisingly light and moreish – just pass them over please
Oh, and don’t forget to visit Karen soon to find out February’s theme. Tea Time TreatsRoundUp. Tea Time Treats is a collection of some of the best and tastiest recipes to be found on food blogs around the internet
Family Friends Food 5-grain and Onion Soup with Cheese Brulee. The new challenge will be open very soon, February doesn't give much turnaround time with it's meagre 28 days, so please bear with me
February brought out the comfort food recipes and Helen at Fuss Free Flavours found this comforting recipe for Slow Baked Sausages in the November chapter of Kitchen Diaries II and spiced it up with some mustard and chose a Double Chocolate stout for her dark beer
Well, you have all been VERY busy this month, and I am delighted to bring you a BULGING round-up of delectable and divine chocolate treats for February’s Tea Time Treats challenge
cinnamon meringues made to look like mushrooms, tiny French macarons, gold dusted caramel shortbreads, biscuits done up in ribbons, mini croquembouches and tiny little savoury tarts
And time for the Tea Time TreatsRound-Up. As many of you know, this will be my very last hosting of Tea Time Treats- thank you for all your support and delicious recipes
PS Don’t forget to head over to Karen for April’s Tea Time Treats on Tuesday. So, go put the kettle on and enjoy a little mooch around some lovely blogs
Soft, sweet and buttery - it's the perfect afternoon tea treat, and also makes a lovely gift. Shortbread is another classic recipe I always like to bake at Christmas
When the batter looks thick, shiny and well blended, add the flour and beat until fully incorporated and leave the mixer on for a couple of minutes, (if by hand, then beat with the wooden spoon or spatula for 40 to 50 strokes)
I have no idea what their chosen charities are, that will all be revealed later today and this launch week, but I am very pleased to announce that my charity is Macmillan Cancer Support, and later in this year I will be hosting a BIG COFFEE MORNING where all the proceeds of my coffee morning, with cakes on sale of course, will be sent to this amazing charity
You know what it's like, you buy an extra pot of double cream, thinking that the Bishop of Ely or the Ukrainian Ambassador might drop in for tea and when no such dignitary turns up and the use by date is getting close, you have to come up with a plan
