  • 65 g Unsalted Butter, Cubed
  • 65 g Demerara Sugar 110g Plain Flour 2 Bramley (cooking) Apples Teaspoon of caster sugar ¼ Teaspoon Allspice 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Few grates of Lemon Zest Method Preheat the oven to 180'C. Place the butter, flour and sugar into a blender and blitz for a few seconds. (Alternatively place in a large mixing bowl and combine by rubbing the butter into the flour and sugar with your fingertips, until it has a breadcrumb texture.) Peel, core and slice your apples. Place the apples into an ovenproof dish, along with the Allspice, Cinnamon, Caster Sugar and Lemon Zest and stir. Gently sprinkle the crumble mixture onto the top of the apples until well covered with an even layer. Place the crumble into the middle of the oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until the topping is golden.
