  • (I use the gluten free ones)
  • 6 slices of smoked streaky dry cure bacon
  • 70 g plain flour (1/2 cup) sifted
  • pinch salt
  • 1 large free range egg, beaten
  • 75 ml semi skimmed milk (1/3 cup)
  • 75 ml water (1/3 cup)
  • coarsely ground black pepper
