Ingredients

  • Oxford sausages
  • 4 x Carrots, very large, about 1lb, peeled and sliced.
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 1 x Garlic clove, finely diced
  • 1 x Potato, peeled and chopped into 1" chunks
  • 500 ml Vegetable stock, I used Marigold Bouillon
  • 1 x Handful of fresh parsley
  • Chili sauce or flakes (optional)
  • 1.5 tbsp Flour, about 1oz
  • 1/4 Pint of milk
  • 3 Eggs, beaten
  • Grated cheese, use as much as you like between 100g to 150g
  • Butter
  • Oil, I used rape seed
  • Oxford sauce
  • 1 x Bottle of Old Hooky Oxfordshire ale
