Full of autumnal flavours this is perfect as theweather turns colder, I’ve bought the flavours and textures of a classic applecrumble and mixed them with an utterly amazing cheesecake…and boy does it work
Recently I’ve been trying to make a few changes inthe way I approach theSlimmingWorld plan, because my weight loss has been tricky sincethebeginning of the year and something needs to change
5 tsp of baking powder. 1120g of Fat-Free Plain Greek Yoghurt. 1fresh finely chopped parsleyPreheat oven to 180c/350f (gas mark 4). 1Blend the oats in a blender or food processor until a fine powder. 1Add to a bowl with thebaking powder, a pinch of salt, Greek yoghurt and eggs. 1Linebaking dish with parchment paper. 1Pour inthe mixture and place inthe oven, bake for 40 mins, skewer entered intothe centre should come out clean. 1Increase oven temp to 200c/400f (gas mark 6). 1Add the cheddar, mozzarella, garlic cloves, fresh parsley to a bowl, and crumble all together with clean hands. 1Once bread is cool, using a sharp knife, cut slits diagonally (making sure not to go all the way through the bread), carefully pull slits open, season with a little salt and spray with a little spray oil. 1Stuff with the cheese garlic mixture. 1Place back inthe dish and bake for approx 10-12 minutes, cheese should be melted and lightly golden. 1Serve warm, dig in, pull-apart and enjoy
It took a little time, but I finally learned the art of spicing up my food for flavor, tasting it to see if its got thebest of everything, and thenadding a bit of this or that to make the flavor just so
You may be thinking that theworld doesn’t need anotherapplecrumblerecipe but here’s where I share one that’s a tad different and super yummy – this fruit crumble will knock your socks off whilst still keeping its firm place with being one of the ultimate comfort food desserts
However, I’m pretty confident that my Aunt Flos’ recipe would easily take that mantle because, once you’ve ripped open one of the hot, steaming scones and inhaled that warm plume of hot baking steam that emanates from anything fresh out of the oven and you just know is going to taste delicious, you will truly come face to face with theworld’s very best scone
We had a collection of blackberries hanging around after the kids went foraging and I was going to make a standard crumble but then thought a nice apple and blackberry loaf topped with a crunchy crumble would go down a treat
I’m really pleased with theseapplemuffins, made with wholewheat flour, fresh apple pieces, mixed spice frosting and a sprinkling a freshly baked crumbletopping
These are best eaten on the day that they are made. These (almost) cheat’s applecrumble and custard pies are a great way to serve up a treat without spending hours inthe kitchen
