Ingredients

  • 450 g (1lb) of extra lean ground beef
  • 11/2 tsp of fine sea salt
  • 12 tbs of half fat mayonnaise - 4 syns 
  • 16 tbs/90ml of fat free plain yoghurt
  • 1½ tsp of paprika
  • 1¼ tsp of mustard powder
  • 1¼ tsp of onion powder
  • 1 couple of slices of pickle, diced
  • 1½ tbs of sukrin:1 or other sweetener of choice
  • 1 see notes for syn free version
  • 11 cup (240ml) of shredded iceburg or romaine lettcue
  • 11 small white onion, finely diced
  • 14 x30g (1oz) of cheddar, sliced  - 4 HEa's
  • 1 slices of pickles
  • 1500 g (17.5oz) of potatoes, sliced into fries
  • 1 sea salt
  • 14 x60g (2oz) whole wheat rolls - 4 HEb'sAdd the sea salt to the ground beef and knead just to combine
  • 1 Form into patties
  • 1 Spray a frying pan over a medium high heat and cook burgers until nice and golden on each side (approx 5 mins per side)
  • 1 Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  • 1 Plate the bottom half of the roll
  • 1 Add some lettuce
  • 1 Top with cheddar
  • 1 Top with burger
  • 1 Top with burger sauce, chopped onions and pickles
  • 1 Add the roll top
  • 1 Serve with fries 
  • 1 Add a side salad for some additional speed foods.
