Ingredients

  • 200 g unsalted butter
  • 250 g caster sugar
  • 3-4 cardamon pods
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 350 g gram flour
  • 1 tbsp slivered pistachios
  • 1 hr chilli
  • 25 mins Makes
  • 2-3 minutes Flatten the dough with your hand until it is about
  • 3/4 inch thick, then wrap in clingfilm and chill in the fridge for
  • 1 hour
  • 4 cm flower

  • 2.5 cm apart to allow them to spread during cooking
