It's Stour Music Festival time again. This may mean nothing to you, but to me it means two glorious weekends of making puddings for appreciative singers and musicians, serving them in a tent in the Kentish countryside
Grease the insides of a baking tin (approx 20cm X 20 cm) and line the bottom with baking parchment. Gently heat the sugar, golden syrup and butter in a pan until the sugar and butter have both melted

Wasn’t sure what I actually do with them, but the lovely bloke at the farm said they are perfect to jam with as they are very high in pectin, so I went back picked a few more to add to my summer fruit jam
We have so many wonderful berries and stone fruits – fragrant and edible flowers like lavender. I love preserving the bounty of the summer here in the Pacific Northwest
