Ingredients

  • 6 weeks time I am getting married
  • 370 g/13oz plain flour
  • 60 g/2oz cornflour
  • 400 g/14oz caster sugar
  • 3.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 225 g/8oz butter
  • Approximately 350g/12oz strawberries
  • 5 egg whites
  • A couple of drops of red food gel (optional)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 50 g/1.5oz granulated sugar
  • 175 g/6oz butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 400 g/14oz strawberries
