Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ Tablespoon sugar
  • ½ garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup melted reduced fat margarine (I like to use the vegan smart balance with Omega 3 fats in it – better for your body)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packed cup shredded reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled, cooked turkey breakfast sausage
