I have mentioned before how much I love chorizo, we had some left over last week, along with a few leftovers hanging around in the veggie drawer so I decided to add a traybake to our weekly menu, it used up all of the veg that was going to be thrown out and all it cost me was the price of some diced chicken and an aubergine
In a large roasting tray place all veg. Bursting with peppery watercress and lemon freshness, these zesty chicken sausages go amazingly well in this Mediterranean veg bake with cheese crumb
-Chop all you veg into bite size pieces, crush your garlic clove and add into your slow cooker/casserole dishAdd the sausages, pasata, dash of water and rest of the ingredients and stir
In a pan over a medium heat, fry off the chicken breasts, peppers and onions. When the chicken is cooked though, add the smoked paprika, cumin, chillies, chilli powder, lime juice, garlic, tomato purée and passata
1600g potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced. 1Brown the bacon and onion in a pan using Frylite. 1Mix the sliced potatoes, broccoli, bacon & onions together in the dish and spread out into an even layer. 1Pour the stock over the potatoes, loosely cover with foil & bake in the oven for about 30-40 mins. 1Once the potatoes have softened, spoon over some of the stock then add the cheese & bake for a further 20 mins until browned
You can cook the potatoesand broccoli in advance. It’s super easy, and ideal on the Extra Easy Plan. asparagus, broccoli, diet, extra easy, healthy, healthyeating, loss, low, potato, salmon, slimming, slimming world, syn, weight, world
I resolved to stick to my guns and created this absolutely sensational Loaded Leek & PotatoBake…or put in more detailed terms, soft roasted potatoand leek bake covered with melted cheese and crispy bacon
A classic and delicious pasta favourite of mine is a creamy tomato chicken pasta bake. For this dish I used both chicken and bacon, with lots of speed veg
Frozen Peas (once you have emptied your sweetcorn fill the tin with peas and use that amount). Get your pasta cooking and then make a start on your sauce
Put the sausages in a casserole dish and cover with the BBQ sauce mix and tin foil. Mix the passata, mustard powder, Worcestershire Sauce, smoked paprika and ketchup
