  • for the cake
  • 8 oz self-raising flour
  • 4 oz butter or margarine
  • 4 oz soft brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 ripe bananas - mashed
  • 2 large eggs - beaten
  • for the caramel topping
  • 3 tablespoons salted caramel
  • 2 not so ripe bananas
