After visiting Browns Bar and Brasserie, Cardiff, back in March and falling in love at first taste, imagine my excitement when I was kindly invited to visit the restaurant again
Restaurant Bar and Mexican Grill Chiquito have just launched their new and very exciting menu. The restaurant had a lovely feel about it too and the decor and lighting were perfect
I was invited as a guest to review this restaurant. Next time you find yourself in Oxford Circus with a grumbling stomach and a waning will to live, face north, walk 5 minutes until you get to Picture Restaurant on Great Portland Street, and feel the stresses and strains of West End shopping slide off your shoulders as you’re greeted by some of the most spot-on service I’ve received in some time, from co-owner and chief of front of house, Tom Slegg
Restaurant name. Japanese Canteen. Location. Watling Street, London. Description. Japanese rice and noodle dishes to eat in or take away - a great lunch spot for City workers
As part of the restaurant’s food policy all meat and poultry is fully traceable – which is definitely a good thing in the aftermath of the horsemeat scandal
Is Brooklands still Barnsley’s leading restaurant. I must take a moment to mention our starters – elegantly presented Brooklands Chicken Liver Pate with spiced fruit chutney and toasted bloomer for me, and kiln roast and smoked salmon torte with buttered granary bread for the husband
Standing on Cardiff's Caroline Street, known locally as Chippy Lane because of the density of fast food shops which occupy it, Pipi's Greek Café and Restaurant is a hidden gem lying undiscovered amongst the greasy takeaway outlets which make up its neighbours, like a diamond in the rough
Restaurant name. Wagamama. Location. Mansion House, London. Description. Casual Japanese-style dining. You sit on long benches - often sharing tables with strangers - and have a paper placemat on which the waiter scribbles the number of your order
Restaurant name. it's nice that the restaurant has an outside seating area as well. Yes, it's a nice restaurant with a good choice of food and we will come here again
Recently we had a bit of a family trip out to Wing Wah, a buffet restaurant in Wolverhampton. When we arrived I did think that it looked a bit like a Pub from the outside, but the minute we walked in I realised it was actually a bit of a Tardis, with a massive open plan restaurant inside
But it doesn't stop there – the café and bakery also tempt diners with breakfast, waffles, ice cream, organic fair trade coffee, smoothies and cold drinks
At the same time, I felt like I might be missing out on something really good, so I continued looking at tasting menus until I found one where I liked almost everything that was listed (aside from a few accompaniments to the main dish, which I thought wouldn’t matter too much) so the decision was made – we were going to Gordon Ramsay’s Maze restaurant
An award-winning restaurant, it’s near but not on Brick Lane – I’ve found in the past that some Brick Lane restaurants are more geared up for tourists but it is a short walk away in Whitechapel where you find the really good, authentic curry houses frequented by locals – such as Needoo Grill and Tayyabs
For me, pizza is usually something I eat at home as a takeaway meal, rather than in a restaurant. When I go to a restaurant, I want to eat something with a bit of sophistication and creativity - and pizza doesn't usually fit the bill
The restaurant also has its very own food shop and deli selling quality Italian products, many of them sourced direct from small artisan producers in Italy, including olive oils, aged balsamic vinegar, freshly made pasta, coffee, biscuits, wine and more
