Ingredients

  • 2013 Red Onion
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (a 200g sheet will make at least 3 tarts)
  • 2 tbsp red onion marmalade (see recipe below)
  • 60 g soft goats cheese
  • 1 beaten egg or milk
  • 200 c fan
  • 7 and cook for between
  • 15 mins Roll out your puff pastry to approx 5mm thick.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 red onions peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
  • 2 tsp light muscovado sugar
  • 200 ml red wine
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
