So I tried a MaryBerryBlueberryand Vanilla muffin recipe from her Complete Cookbook. The top was nice and crunchy while the middle was nice a soft, but the occasional burst of sweet berry
Now I have to say, MaryBerry’s recipe was extremely confusing and it took me quite a while to write up a version that made sense to me, just to start cooking it for myself
Add the Cajun seasoning and butter and toss to coat everything in the spicy, buttery goodness. Fold each piece of foil up into a tight seal — fold two opposing sides together and then crimp the edges closed
Mix the rosemary, oil and paprika together and. Salt and. season well with salt and pepper. Put the onions and stock into a small roasting tin, put a rack on top then
The Delia-type of cook has essentially been replaced by top end chefs, not that there is anything wrong with that, but are these chefs making home cooking seem too ambitious
For the rostis, grate the parboiled potatoesand mix with the bacon lardons and tarragon. Purée the sauce and push through a sieve to get a smooth sauce
Once pressure it released, peel of the potatoesand cut them into small identical sized cubes. Prepare a solution of cornflour with a pinch of salt and water
I popped out to Sainsbury’s to buy my ingredients, and I am pleased to report that my five-a-day basket was filled to the brim with fresh, seasonal and BRITISH vegetables – leeks, potatoes, carrots, celery and onions as well as British pork sausagesand chicken
This soup is a mix of simple cheap carrots, I used baby but you can use any carrots, just adjust your sugar amount since baby carrots are usually sweeter, and simple spices and seasonings
Ever since I had my Carpal Tunnel Decompression operation on my left hand I have been trying to test how soon my wrist can take what kind of strain and one of the things I sorely missed was cooking what I wanted when I wanted and of course blogging too
