Ingredients

  • 120 g plain flour
  • 60 g golden caster sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 90 g unsalted butter at fridge temperature, cut into pieces
  • 300 g cooking apple (usually one large Braeburn), peeled and cored
  • 30 g brown sugar
  • a large handful of blackberries
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • cream, to serve
