I wanted to create a SW friendly version after finding out it is upwards of 30 syns per slice of takeaway pizza. Take 75g of your wholemeal. 5 tbsp passata. Boil the potatoes for 5-10 mins until cooked through. Brush with egg again and bake in the oven for 10-15 mins on a medium heat, or until cheese has melted and tops have crisped
I love Indian snacky things like Pakoras anyway so to find a syn free version made me really happy. I made these ages ago but never got round to posting the recipe, since starting work I've found it hard to find things to take for my lunch and to keep me going throughout the day so I've been looking for some Slimming World friendly snacks that I wont feel guilty for eating
This spaghetti carbonara is delicious with the whole family enjoying it, and it's even more enjoyable knowing it is only 1 syn per portion. 25g Primula cheese with chives. 25g Primula cheese with chives
This can be eaten by itself or as part of a meal, it's good alternative to naan bread if you are having a curry, I like to make my syn free curry and serve with this and some rice
While we’re confessing I suppose I should also own up to being unable to resist ordering a portion of salt and chilli chicken wings too- well if I’m going to syn I might as well make a good job of it
It's also syn free on Slimming World. One thing you might know about me is how much I love pasta. I eat a lot of the stuff and am forever trying to find a new way to use it from pasta bakes to spaghetti bolognese and my current favourite, carbonara
This is a delicious Syn Free meal and tastes better than any takeaway. 5 tbsp tikka curry powder. 5cm piece root ginger, grated. 5 tbsp fat free natural fromage frais. Add the onion and fry for 5-6 minutes. Stir in the tomato purée and 250ml of water. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes stirring often. After the chicken has marinated, you can either add straight to the slow cooker, or to seal the chicken first thread it onto eight metal skewers, spray with low calorie oil spray and put on a griddle pan or under the grill with a medium heat for 5-10 minutes just to seal the edges, turning once or twice

I’d never even heard of Homity Pie a few months ago but now my Slimming World Homity Pie is a regular on my Slimming World menu because not only is it syn free, it’s also delicious, easy to make and cheap
This means that he is more than happy to share the Slimming World food optimised meals that I enjoy as well as taking low syn foods to work for his “bait”
