so before we start with the round-up I just wanted to chat with everyone about the recent recipe copyright debate that's been doing the rounds and how it impacts on what we all love doing and how it particularly impacts on this challenge which actively encourages you to use your cookbooks

on occasion, when i'm luck enough to find myself a quiet and rainy Sunday afternoon and there's nothing much happening I like to play a little game I call randomrecipes
Last month on Family Foodies we invited food bloggers to share their ideas for fun, tasty recipes to cook with kids and you rose to the challenge brilliantly
it seems as though you all had a little fun with this months randomrecipes meets alphabakes. next is Anne from Anne's Kitchen with her Aubergine Puree or Baba Ganoush as it's more commonly known, randomly selected from Just Like Mother Used to Make by Tom Norrington Davies
our first virgin for RandomRecipes this year is laura from Laura Loves Cakes who made this weight inducing just if you stare at it Summer Fruit Cream Slice taken from the McDougalls Better Bakers Guide
Putting aside my abject disappointment for one minute, this cake is made in honour of Dom from Belleau Kitchen's very first anniversary of his magnificant blogging challenge, RandomRecipes
I recently discovered Belleau Kitchen and his randomrecipes through another blog (Maison Cupcake) when last month Sarah @ Maison Cupcakes entered randomrecipes blog hop which asked readers to take pictures of their cook book collections
Sam from Pistachio and Rose is a RandomRecipes Virgin but talk about dedication. and I'm pleased to say it's all moving along swimmingly (and OK, I didn't get to do my own favourite cookbook random recipe, but I did do one none the less)
After my last catastrophic attempt at Dom’s challenge, I was really pleased to see that this month’s ‘Random Recipe Challenge’ is from "your favourite cook book"
It was about his super popular blogging challenge, RandomRecipes. For this month, Dom has paired off all the challenge participants in a kind of internet dating baking fashion, each of us getting to choose our partners Random Recipe
But I did make time yesterday to cook my entry for this month's Random Recipe challenge. The randomly chosen book is Lauk Bumbu Bacem by Indonesian cokery writer, Aan Roswaty
One of the FIRST challenges I discovered was RandomRecipes, hosted and run by the Dashing Dom over at Belleau Kitchen, so I JUMPED right in with both feet and joined up
