Ingredients

  • 1½ cups Rajma/Red Kidney Beans
  • 3 large Tomatoes, cored and pureed
  • 1 heaped tbsp Tomato Paste (Optional)
  • ½ tbsp Kasuri Methi/Dried Fenugreek Leaves, crushed (Optional)
  • Salt to taste

  • For Onion Paste
  • 1 large or 2 medium Onions, roughly chopped
  • 4 large cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 3 Cloves 1 tbsp Dhania/Coriander Seeds
  • ½ tsp Jeera/Cumin Seeds
  • 5-7 Dried Red Chillies (Byadagi/Kashmiri or any mild tasting variety. Adjust acc to taste)
  • 1 +1 tbsp Oil
