To make my banana & oat breakfast biscuits I used Flahavan’s fab multi seed oats, but naturally you can mix the two together for yourself and I’ve added both options into the recipe
I’ve made these muffins a few times now, and they seem to have a slightly different texture every time – I think it depends on the size and ripeness of the bananas that go into the mix, and also the size of the porridge oats themselves – or maybe it’s just one of those things
Make sure you use a good ripe banana, as the green ones just don’t work well in a banana loaf. Add in the oats, flaked nuts and baking soda and mix well
They oatsand blueberries make them a healthy breakfast dish, whilst being a weekend treat too. In another bowl, beat the egg yolk, flour, oats, sweetener, cinnamon and milk together
The topping is quark mixed with vanilla protein powder. Perfect for breakfast or even a snack, these healthy muffins are super juicy & moist thanks to the mashed bananans and berries
This definitely makes for a perfect cure for the afternoon energy slump, speedy breakfast on the go or just something one would enjoy with a nice cup of tea

In a blender, combine banana, milk, egg, wheat germ, honey, vanilla and nutmeg. It’s no secret that eating healthy foods like a protein banana smoothie can only do good things for your health and body
