Ingredients

  • 1 lbs of good quality sausage meat
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • A good handful of grated mature cheddar
  • 2 tbsp of small chunk ploughman's pickle
  • 6 free range lion eggs for boiling
  • 1 tsp of butter for frying
  • 1 beaten egg for basting
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of thyme for breadcrumbs
  • 3 slices of toasted bread blitzed up in a food processor
  • salt and pepper for seasoning
  • flour for rolling
  • Salt and pepper
  • oil for frying
