I have never cooked with orzo pasta before but I have to say this worked really well - it is just like risotto but a lot quicker and easier as you aren't constantly stirring and adding stock
We've had a few tummy issues in the family just lately, so I've been trying to avoid the heavily spiced, full of chilli, rich with tomato sort of flavours so as to give everyone a chance to recover
In a saucepan bring the stock to the boil and season with salt, pepper and seasoning. Salt & pepper. Mix the pasta and chicken mix together then add the sauce
I made this with meat-free meatballs (it baffles me. Pasta. ) but if you prefer you could use with 'real' meatballs but please remember you will have to syn them
Heat a pan with Frylight then add the meatballs, when they are cooked you can then start the sauce. One of my favourite meals is Chilli, but one of Georges favourites is Pasta and Meatballs so I decided to put the two together to make a simple meatball pastabake
As Candy Crush has pretty much taken over my life I was snowed under with work I opted to use pasta instead of all that faffing with peeling, boiling and mashing of the potatoes
In a frying pan (sprayed with frylight) gry the garlic until soft, add the tinned tomatoes, the cherry tomatoes (halved), the stock and the sugar (also the herbs, salt and pepper if you wish)
This is a super simple, fool proof three step cheesy pastabake recipe made with Cream Of soup. Cheap, simple to make and (almost) impossible to mess up, you can cook up these dishes on a budget without going starving
