Ingredients

  • 125 g self-raising flour
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 1.5 level tsp baking powder
  • 225 g caster sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • 150 g butter, melted
  • 150 g cooking apples, peeled and cored
  • 150 g pears, peeled and cored
  • 25 g flaked almonds

    Easy to make. We used gluten free flour and it worked well. Very tasty, most cake.
