Yesterday, I made a baked NewYork style cheesecake in my digital pressure cooker. I swear - this was one of the tastiest and easiest cheesecakes I've ever made and it didn't even go near my oven
I incorporated all these three in my version of the NewYorkCheesecake aka baked cheesecake. When I made the no bake mango cheesecake I didn’t know that there is a baked cheese cake recipe
Gradually add the eggs and vanilla essence beating well between each addition (beat in rather than whisk as you don’t want to incorporate too much air as this will affect the smooth surface of the cheesecake)
I thought I would go with a simple one so started with NewYork vanilla flavour but then thought how can I fancy it up a bit, so I added some salted caramel to it
this one caught my eye because it was a little different and as i drool at most culinary delights made by james martin on saturday kitchen, i decided i'd give this "newyork style baked lemon cheesecake mix" a whirl
Naturally I offered to bring something sweet and delicious to our catch up, and after finding out our host was making chocolate mousse (which was quite possibly the best chocolate mousse I’ve ever tasted) I knew I had to come up with something a little bit different
I’m talking creamy, soft, delicious, cream cheese-y, cheesecake, not wobbly jelly on a dry base which unfortunately is often the way that Slimming World cheesecakes go
Here is the cheesecake ready to serve, having removed the loose bottom from the tin. I'm sending this to Four Seasons Food, hosted by Louisa at Eat Your Veg and Anneli at Delicieux as the theme is celebrating spring, and the zesty refreshing flavour of this cheesecake is great for spring
I adore cheesecake, and miss it dearly after starting Slimming World. cheesecake, dessert, diet, healthy, healthyeating, loss, low, slimming, slimmingworld, starwberries, strawberry, sweet, syn, weight, weightloss, world
