Not entirely – that would be a very bad idea. the rich, creamy and fruity food I cooked and ate over the festive period was delicious, but I am wanting cleaner flavours now, and this recipe, Chinese Garlic,Ginger & Honey Chicken with Noodles, is perfect, as well as being super low in calories too
This recipe is more or less down to the kids loving noodles, but not having any fresh in the house. Open your pack of instant noodles and break them up as you put them into your soupmaker
My mother will probably tell you my love of cooking started because I like making a mess and there is plenty to guddle with in this recipe, my favourite part being mixing the ingredients for the sausage meat filling
My kids are addictive to noodles what ever type it may be either instant or plain,When there was a ban for instant noodles they longed for it but i made this plain noodles with veggies often to fulfil their carve
Some brands of sweet potato starch noodles come pre-cut – but if yours are super long, cut them in half or thirds after cooking and cooling to make sure your japchae recipe is easy to eat
Deseed and chop your red chilli. Serve in a bowl and scatter the toasted pumpkin seeds on top. (serves 2)1 mini pumpkin half an onion1 large handful of pumpkin seeds (packet bought) 1 heaped tsp Bouillon or other vegetable stock1 red chilli (optional)Directions. My point is that whilst I usually prefer my noodles hot, these gorgeous soba noodles work really, really well cold – they retain their bite and nutty flavour and are great for soaking up the flavours of punchy dressings, like this creamy and crunchy peanut and sesame one
To assemble the salad drain the noodles and place in the middle of the plate. Put the carrots next to the noodles on one side and the pickled cabbage on the other, sprinkle with the sprouts
