You can of course use wholemeal bread, and I would prefer to have wholemeal bread, but it will almost double the calories for one slice of bread, so I decided to go for white bread this time, and of course, home-made bread would be brilliant too, of course
And, one of the best ways to keep on track, for me, is to devise a weekly meal plan. ) This is a delightful and easy recipe for non-fast days too, and you can then serve it with chips or sautéed potatoes
Breakfast. I am finding myself being drawn more and more to comfort food recipes, as autumn deepens and the first frosts appear, and so it’s with great pleasure that I share my hearty Hungarian Savoury Minced Beef, this is a real comfort mealand is low in calories, but, it is also suitable for a mid-week family supper – frugal and thrifty it may be, but it certainly doesn’t lack in flavour
This is a recipe that is suitable for any meal, whether you are on a low-calorie diet or not, and is perfect for the barbecue, when that elusive season arrives
Breakfast. - RecipesandMeal Plans -. I am also linking up to Mrs M’s Meal Planning Monday, as it is a handy resource to see what other’s have planned for the week ahead
And, that is including the week that I had these gorgeous burgers as my main meal too. Meal type. and for those of you with eyes like a hawk, YES the photos DO show a pitta bread, but I took these photo on a NON FAST day as we (hubs and I) both loved these burgers so much, that I made them again, for a feast day

BY request, Drop Scones (Scotch Pancakes). My Monday Meal Plan this week has slid to a Tuesday – as you know if you have been reading and following my blog over the last few days, I have been SO busy with a houseful of guests, cleaning, cooking, gardening, packing (I am off on my travels tomorrow) and that left me only a few hours, or should I say and hour, in evening to write my blog, do round-ups (the Herbs on Saturday round-up is following on later today) and all the other stuff I love doing here
Have a wonderful mid-week, Karen. I am sharing the recipe below and this recipe is part of my Fast Day today, you can see the rest of my meal plan here
One Pan All Day Breakfast. Anyway, on to my weekly meal plan and the recipe for Curried Carrot Soup. I have also planned the rest of my week’s meals, again, they have a very wintry slant to them and I am also embracing lots of bread making this week
The Fast Diet, Meal Planning Monday and. I am back on my Monday Meal Plans……things all went awry in December and over the Festive period, but I have decided to more disciplined, as much as I can be disciplined, and attempt to plan ahead
basically, on the “points” diet that I have always followed, (and I think that the Pro Points diet may be the same) if you KNOW you have a day coming up where you are going out for a meal or you will be eating MORE than your daily recommended daily points allowance, you can “save” some of your points up from days where you go BELOW your daily allowance, BUT only over the period of ONE WEEK = Fast days then
