Malcolm and I are doing well, with another couple of pounds lost last week, and that
to share later in the week too, and I am revisiting my recipes for hearty but low-calorie fare from last year, mainly soups and stews again.
Steak with spinach, tomatoes and onions
sea salt and a little vegetable oil
butter (I used Rodda's Cornish butter)
clotted cream (I used Rodda's clotted cream)
cream cheese with herbs and garlic
dried English mustard powder
salt and black pepper
Note These super cheesy stuffed spuds (stuffed jacket potatoes) make a wonderfully tasty supper dish and are cheap and cheerful! Serve as a main meal with seasonal veggies and/or salad, or as an accompaniment to roast meats, pies and tarts etc.
these are all over Pinterest and Facebook. Kate Ford | The Veg Space Recipe type. My rich, gravy filling is based on puy lentils & mushrooms braised in red wine, with carrots, parsnips and all the usual Shepherds’ Pie loveliness
The best thing about this warming meal is that it is so versatile and is great in the mornings before heading out for a wintry walk or for when you come home in the evening after a long hard day Christmas shopping
Last week and weekend was bit busy with lot of acitivities to complete and i couldn't find anytime for grocessory shopping and top of it i was not willing to miss this bloghop too(missed last two mondays), so i just took the ingredients left out in the pantry and my stuffed tomatoes are ready to serve
Oops its Monday again, I really did mean to blog a recipe but er I hmm I can't even claim I was even that busy but our home routine has changed a little due to a change of shift patterns for my boyfriend and I am trying to finally start the photography e-course I bought in July
