My Monday Meal Plan this week has slid to a Tuesday – as you know if you have been reading and following my blog over the last few days, I have been SO busy with a houseful of guests, cleaning, cooking, gardening, packing (I am off on my travels tomorrow) and that left me only a few hours, or should I say and hour, in evening to write my blog, do round-ups (the Herbs on Saturday round-up is following on later today) and all the other stuff I love doing here
Creamy Salmon and Orange Pastawith Mixed Herbs. The FastDiet, MealPlanning Monday and. As I did last year, I am linking up with Mrs M’s MealPlanning Monday with my plan, such a great idea to share meal plans, as well as pick up new ideas

And, one of the best ways to keep on track, for me, is to devise a weekly meal plan. ) This is a delightful and easy recipe for non-fastdays too, and you can then serve it with chips or sautéed potatoes
And yes, I have not posted in two days, which is VERY unusual for me, but I have lots of lovely recipes to share with you over the next few days, as well as some reviews, news, giveaways and a weekly meal plan too……along with photos and my daily thoughts, I hope to be back on track (excuse the pun – all this talk of trains has obviously affected me) very soon
Meal type. Serve with crusty bread on a non-fast or diet day. I am rather pleased with this recipe, not just because it is very filling and extremely flavoursome, but because my husband, who is NOT following any diet, asked if he could have some for his lunch, as the aromatic fragrance of the lemons, cumin and garlic infused the kitchen and apparently titillated his taste buds
It must run in my family, as I remember my dad making orange boats with wafer sails as well as potato faces (with peas for hair etc) for parties and dinner-time meals…
I’m persevering, although some weeks I think I simply eat too much food on feast days (three meals out in a row doesn’t really help if you are trying to lose weight
