So, today’s recipe is really a tantalising Mocha Marbled loaf cake by Mary Berry. Now I have to say, Mary Berry’s recipe was extremely confusing and it took me quite a while to write up a version that made sense to me, just to start cooking it for myself
Put the margarine, sugar, fruit, water, and mixed spice in a saucepan over a moderate heat. You may need to put brown paper over the top if cake starts to singe before it is cooked throughout
