I suspect my marmalade is a little too set to win any competitions but the taste is phenomenal, the tart orange flavour bursts onto your tongue and stays with you for some time after eating
This marmalade isn’t just SevilleOrange, instead of spending a few pounds every other week I decided to make my own Orange Whisky Marmalade and you guy’s guess what
I have tried the quick method where you put soft boiled Sevilleoranges in the food processor and chop to a paste but i thought the resulting Marmalade missed that jewel like quality of Sevilleorange shreds set within a quivering jelly, instead it was one opaque colour
So now we have a cupboard full of marmalade, I’m looking forward to very civilised breakfasts of marmalade on toast with a pot of tea, reading the newspaper
Next with a sharpe knife cut your peel into long thin shreds and divide that into your pots along with the water, orange juice and the pulp in the muslin clothes
Once it is simmering you can pretty much leave it to its own devices – I plonked myself on the sofa and made my lovely mum a tea cosy whilst watching Call The Midwife – don’t you just love that programme

This year's batch I put through the food processor's slicer, so the fruit is very finely shredded, and actually means I eat more of it, instead of picking off the chunks
Enjoy freshly sliced or warmed with custard and a large mug of builder's tea. Stir in the sugar, the orange rind, add eggs, salt, marmalade and milk and combine
Guys, I think I’ve outdone myself with this one. If you follow me on instagram or twitter, you’ve probably seen this chocolate orangebread wreath way too many times already
