OOOOOHHH YES. Angela from Garden, Tea, Cakes and Me, made these GORGEOUS little mini snowball cakes, I LOVE the lovely little pearl-ised balls she used on her cakes, I feel I NEED some of those now
I plan to bake as much as I can, within the restraints of my travel plans over the next week, and this recipe is my first offering, not only for Organic September and Tropical Wholefoods, but also for the The Big Fair Bake, and as my entry into this month’s TeaTimeTreats challenge, and Dom’s Random Recipes, which have joined as a shared challenge this month
What I love about this recipe is its simplicity – we are surrounded by over laden iced “cupcakes” andmulti-layered cakes nowadays, as well as “cake pops”, “giant American muffins” and other gargantuan bakesand cakes
As well as my own TeaTimeTreats challenge, this cake also qualifies as a One Ingredient entry, as Lauraand Nazima have picked Oranges as their January ingredient, where Laura is in the chair this month

Angela has really gone to town with these lovely cakes, and as she had a tiny bit of lemon curd left over from whoopie pies which she had made last week, she decided to be a bit more creative
