Ingredients

  • 750 g Stewing pork
  • 4 x Rashers smoked back bacon, chopped
  • 150 g Baby button mushrooms
  • 1 x Onion, diced
  • 1 x Red pepper, chopped
  • 1 x green pepper, chopped
  • 1 x garlic clove, crushed
  • 6 x Shallots, peeled
  • 300 g Mini carrots, peeled
  • 600 g Potatoes, peeled and chopped into equal sizes
  • 1 x Parsnip, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 Celeriac, peeled and chopped
  • 300 g Broth mix (pearl barley, lentils, etc)
  • 1 tsp Dried mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 2 L Stock, hot
  • 2 x Slices of bread
