Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 3 medium onions
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp hot smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 600 ml cold water
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 each red
  • 3. Cut your meat into rough 4cm chunks and season with salt and pepper. Add the oil to a large flameproof casserole dish and heat. Fry the steak over a hugh heat, stirring often, until nicely browned all over. Add the onions and cook for a further 5 minutes or until the onions are soft. Stir through the garlic and cook for one more minute.
