Stir in the cornflour paste and continue tocook over a low heat until the sauce thickens. Cinnamon-spiced mince and vegetables, a layer of tender eggplant (aubergine), and a toppingof creamy, rich white sauce
If you use some shin of beef or braising steak this can be a nice cheap pie to make, but the beef needs long and slow cooking, so this is great to put into a large oven dish in the morning and slow cook through the day ready for the evening

I didn’t add the yogurt or feta to the dish as I don’t really have much dairy either, but I didn’t miss having them in there, although I think the saltiness of the feta would have worked well
I quite often make banana bread, it’s an excellent way to use up over ripe fruit, but I saw a slightly different version on line so I thought I’d adapt ours to sort of match it
Once the pressure has been released take meat and carrots out on to a dish and add potatoes if needed add more water, once potatoes are cooked add bisto gravy granules to thicken the sauce and then add meat & carrots

When I flicked through my new cook book and landed on this recipe, hidden at the bottomof their recipe for slow cooked garlic and rosemary lamb, I thought this would be a fun twist on a roast dinner and perfect for a Sunday entertaining guests
