I had tried the Tikka Masala from the HairyBikers Best Curries book as part of my Curry Night series and thought I would try the Korma as it is another British favourite
Add in the cubed chicken pieces and stir so the chicken is coated all over. This is much nicer than the saag curries from the indian and it is really easy to make
I saw someone post this recipe but then, as usual lost the post so I scoured the web, looked at a few and wangled one up myself, which is my favouritist thing to do in the kitchen, make a recipe my own and then share with you lovelies
Add the curry powder, salt and red lentilsand stir to coat well. I mostly use baobab in smoothies and love its slightly sweet, tangy taste, but I thought I’d experiment with it in savoury dishes too and loved the result in this Red Lentil, Spinach & Potato Curry
Add the chickenand brown. This is a variation on a non slow cooked recipe I've tried before, but as usual I've jiggled about with the ingredients, cos I like to do that, and added a few too,
A tasty sauce with heat from curry. This sauce is good to eat with rice. green lentils. When I make spicy sauces, I usually use coconut milk, because it makes the sauce taste more mild and also gives it a good taste
This made enough for me for lunch (with no rice or other side dish) and two single freezer meals. Serve in a big bowl on its own or with rice or couscous
I decided that it was time to try - I very well couldn't continue to live here in Englandwithout figuring out how to tame the curry beast like the rest of the population
Place the chicken on top of the vegetables and chorizo and sprinkle with the paprika and oregano. When the sun shines I want food with Mediterranean flavours, and this dish is full of them
