Chicken and Butternut Squash CasserolewithPotato and Pea Mash. They worked so well together, the flavours were perfect and were a great accompaniment with the chicken and butternut squash
I served it with nan bread and didn't feel the need for rice. I am not a connoisseur on chicken jalfrezi as I don't eat that many curries, and if I do I usually go for chicken tikka masala
But, I thought I’d share with you my joy of the new book in my growing collection. It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of curries and I love the Hairy Bikers
Check the seasoning and serve with mashed potatoes. In keeping with my healthy theme for January, I thought I’d call upon the help of my old friends the Hairy Bikers and one of their recipes that’s become such a go-to in my kitchen
I started withHairy Bikers' Chicken Tikka Masala from their Great Curries book. Pour this into a heatproof bowl, cover with cling film, cool and chill until you’re ready to cook the chicken
I served it with homemade chapati (chapati flour, oil and water fried), sweet potato sag aloo, a spring onion, tomato, cucumber and coriander salad and basmati rice
A rich BBQ sauce with bacon and plenty of speed veg gives a filling and super easy weeknight meal. This is a perfect winter warmer and is another variation of my popular BBQ Chicken Stacks
In a saucepan bring the stock to the boil and season with salt, pepper and seasoning. Meanwhile add the chicken, mushrooms, bacon, pepper, onion, garlic clove and sweetcorn into a large frying pan and cook through
Check that the chicken is cooked, then serve. 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (each about 150g), thinly sliced. Stir-fry the chicken in the oil over a high heat for 2-3 minutes until it's beginning to brown. Season with pepper and stir-fry for 2 minutes
As is the case with all types of legume,…. Add the chicken, sweet potatoes and lentils and stir to coat in the paste, then pour in the stock and coconut milk
