So it might come as no surprise to you that when I dreamt up a new recipe it would be something stuffed like chicken thighs stuffed with mushroomsand goat cheese, then I decided to wrap them in bacon to keep that stuffing safe and secure like little swaddled babies and because…well it’s delicious

We’re in the midst of fig season here in France and I’m loving it. Without a doubt they’re one of my favourite fruits and as we’re relative newbies here only in our second fig season they still feel rather decedent and exotic
I've been kind of a little bit scared of making one, and now that I have, I realise that there was no need, as they really are quite simple - well this one was anyway
The pepper looked so beautiful on the plate stuffed with black beans and goats cheese, and it was served with a tzatziki sauce and some charred springonions (my new favourite thing)
Add the roasted pepper, caramelised onionand goats cheese to the flour mix and stir until combined. I am currently living my wildest tourist dreams and frolicking around London, camera in hand, visiting ALL the landmarks, or at least the cheap/free ones anyways
