For the buns, I used flour sent to me the lovely team at Marriage's Millers. For me, the day's inevitable frustrations and worries are soothed away during a time that can be used for a little peace and reflection
Sometimesthe simplest things can be rather lovely (insert your own sexist joke about an ex-boyfriend here) and so it is that Mrs Portly’s Kitchen uses just potato, cheese, butter and flour to make these Cheesy Potato Farls, heart-shaped and topped with a poached egg
