Ingredients

  • Makes around 10 waffles Hands on time: 20 minutes Ready in: 20 minutes
  • Waffle batter
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 180 ml / 6 fl oz / ¾ cup soya milk (or almond milk)
  • 140 g / 5 oz / 1 cup wholemeal (wholewheat) flour (or use a GF flour mix if needed e.g. Doves GF Brown Bread Flour)
  • 50 g / 1¾ oz / ½ cup rolled oats (use certified GF, if needed)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 TBSP maple syrup
