Swiss rolls can look so impressive but they’re ridiculously easy to make. This one is made with a floaty light vanilla sponge, filled with whipped double cream laced with rose water and chopped fresh strawberries, giving it a delicate pink hue. So pretty!
Once rolled up, cover in parchment paper and leave to cool completely. It has always been my mother’s department, I swear she could make a perfect one in her sleep (which is why I’m using her tried and tested recipe)
