Ingredients

  • 750 g Lamb
  • 250 g plain yogurt
  • 8 cardamon pods
  • 2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 6 medium onions
  • 4 tbsp ghee or sunflower oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 15 g chunk fresh root ginger
  • 1 long red chilli
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp ground tumeric
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 wedges
